I keep seeing posts on Facebook where my boyfriend confronts pro-lifers and other people who post hateful, misogynistic statuses and it warms the cockles of my heart. I’m not even friends with these people, I just happen to see the posts sometimes. He even tore a new one on a guy bemoaning the plight of Nice Guys. Defending women’s rights, without even knowing I would (or could) see it. He never dismisses what I have to say about feminist issues (it’s a lot) like so many men have before him, and instead actively listens and even agrees with and adopts many of my views. I’m generally not a romantic person, nor do I like to gush, but every person should be so lucky as to have a wonderful, kind, respectful and intelligent partner like I do. I love him very much. I’m really lucky.

Man, does anyone have any suggestions for good places for tall girls to shop? I’m over 6’0” and I’m going to Cancun in a few weeks, and I would LOVE to own a bathing suit that doesn’t give me a massive wedgie literally 100% of the time. Gap is my go-to tall girl store, but they don’t sell swimsuits in tall.
Just to clarify
If I tag a photo OPI or Essie (or any other brand) but it’s not the polish I’m holding in the picture, it simply means it’s one of the brands I used in the manicure. For example, I’m holding a Chanel bottle in my last post, but for that mani I used Chanel Mimosa as well as Essie Brazilliant, Essie A-List, OPI Princesses Rule, and OPI Alpine Snow. Just wanted to clear that up, I promise I’m not abusing tags just to get hits!

We’re talking about immigration policy in my philosophy class and if I have to hear one more person talk about “immigrants stealing our jobs” I am going to fucking lose it. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person who believes that I don’t have the right to any god damn job I want simply by virtue of being born in America. Stfu racist, xenophobic assholes. God damn.
