The Ludurana Aurora Boreal shades are my absolute favorite duochromes. Show and Fascinante are the best of the bunch, in my opinion, but this one’s up there too. This is Emocionante, and despite my camera insisting it’s blue, it’s actually a deep, shimmery amethyst. It primarily shifts to a sunburnt orange, but you can also see pink, green, and blue at times. This is two coats over one coat of black. These polishes are available internationally through Llarowe, and I reccomend all of them. Seriously. They’re a polish lover’s dream.

This polish has been sitting in my stash for ages and besides one quick swatch when I first got it I’ve never worn it. God knows why, because LOOK at that shift. Now that’s how you do a duochrome. The formula is a bit obnoxious- thin and streaky with lots of cuticle pooling- but it just takes some patience to build it up. This is three thin-ish coats, plus Seche Vite.
