Okay this is just ridiculous. Designers: YOU CAN’T JUST TAKE DRESSES DESIGNED ON SIZE 00 FITS MODELS AND MAKE THEM BIGGER. THEY LOOK TERRIBLE. That model is obviously stunning, but that dress makes her look absolutely shapeless. Thin model? Chic. Plus size model? $118 Muumuu. I’m also sure that Ms. Gorgeous and Thick has a fabulous rack, but can we tell? No. We can’t tell she has a waist either. She looks like a tacky floral house in that dress. Come on, this isn’t that hard. Designers, you need to get your shit together.
I went to Nordstrom today on the hunt for a graduation dress and was just super disappointed with the selection. Where do you all shop? It’s worth noting that I’m an adult so I don’t really shop at places like Delias/Alloy/etc, and I’m also craaaazy tall so petite stuff ain’t gonna cut it. Help a soon-to-be college graduate lady out!
Ahhh this is so nice to see! Nordstrom models their plus size swimsuits on women who aren’t photoshopped so much that they just look like slightly wider regular models! It is SO IMPORTANT to see these kinds of bodies right there next to petite women, where they’re both shown as normal. Now I’d love to see some cellulite, but baby steps. Feel free to hop over to the Nordstrom plus size section for a curvy lady confidence boost!
Nordstrom has the new Deborah Lippmann polishes eeeeeeep. Obviously scooped this beauty up as soon as I saw it.
